Used Minolta AF Zoom xi 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 Lens
The Minolta AF Zoom xi 100-300mm f/4.5-5.6 is a telephoto zoom lens for Minolta AF and Sony Alpha mount 35mm SLR and DSLR cameras, part of Minolta's "xi" lens series featuring motorized power zoom and power focus operation controlled from the camera body rather than manual rings. The 100-300mm range covers portrait through telephoto reach in a single lens, and a built-in macro function extends close-focusing capability at the 300mm end for close-up subjects without additional accessories.
The optical formula consists of 11 elements in 9 groups, with a 9-blade aperture diaphragm for smooth out-of-focus rendering at telephoto distances. The 1.5m minimum focus distance is consistent with typical telephoto zooms of its era, and the lens is compatible with Minolta AF/Sony A-mount film and digital SLR bodies without an adapter, or with Sony E/FE mirrorless bodies via an LA-EA3 or LA-EA4 mount adapter.
