Used Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 Lens for Nikon Z
The Viltrox AF 20mm f/2.8 is a compact full-frame ultra-wide prime for Nikon Z-mount cameras, offering a lightweight, budget-friendly alternative to Nikon's own 20mm f/1.8 S at a fraction of the size and weight. Well suited to landscape, architectural, and astrophotography work, the lens covers an expansive field of view in a package measuring just 60.8mm in length and weighing 173g, considerably smaller than any native Nikon Z alternative at this focal length. A fast, nearly silent STM stepping motor drives autofocus with support for Eye and Face AF on compatible Nikon bodies, and the lens compensates for its lack of built-in stabilization by working with in-body image stabilization.
The optical formula consists of 10 elements in 8 groups incorporating 2 ED elements, 1 high refractive index element, and 2 aspherical elements for chromatic aberration and distortion control. HD Nano multilayer coating combined with a water-resistant and antifouling coating on the front element helps reduce flare and ghosting while easing maintenance. The lens reaches a 0.19m minimum focus distance for a 1:6.1 maximum magnification ratio, and a wide, smoothly damped manual focus ring is included, though there is no aperture ring or additional switches on the barrel. No weather sealing is included.
