Used TTArtisan AF 40mm f/2 Lens for Nikon Z
The TTArtisan AF 40mm f/2 is a full-frame autofocus "normal" prime for Nikon Z-mount cameras, delivering a classic 40mm perspective in a compact, all-metal body. A dedicated clicked aperture ring sets it apart from most autofocus lenses in its class, giving photographers direct, tactile control without menu diving. The 40mm focal length sits between a traditional 35mm and 50mm, making it a versatile choice for street, travel, documentary, and everyday photography where a balance of environmental context and subject isolation is desired.
The optical formula consists of 9 elements in 6 groups incorporating one aspherical element, one extra-low dispersion element, and two high-index elements for chromatic aberration control and image clarity. A 7-blade diaphragm produces smooth, creamy bokeh at close focus distances, and the lens weighs just 166-176g depending on mount variant, making it an unobtrusive everyday-carry option. A USB-C port built into the rear lens cap allows for firmware updates. The lens is not weather sealed.
