The TTArtisan 40mm f/2.8 Macro is a manual focus prime lens built for APS-C Sony E-mount cameras, offering a 60mm equivalent focal length. It delivers 1:1 maximum magnification, allowing life-size reproduction of close-up subjects.
The optical design uses 8 elements in 7 groups, including two ultra-low dispersion elements, to help control aberrations across the focusing range. The lens has an 11-blade diaphragm and a full-metal, all-manual construction with no electronic contacts, so aperture and focus are set entirely by hand.
