The Tokina AT-X 116 PRO DX 11-16mm f/2.8 is a legendary ultra-wide zoom that earned a devoted following among Nikon APS-C shooters for one simple reason: it delivered f/2.8 brightness at ultra-wide focal lengths at a price no one else could match. The optical design pulls 13 elements in 11 groups, with two Super-Low Dispersion glass elements and two aspherical elements working together to minimize chromatic aberration and keep images crisp across the frame — even at f/2.8. Autofocus is handled through Tokina's body-driven system via the Nikon F mount's screw-drive connection, and the iconic One-Touch Focus Clutch Mechanism lets you snap between AF and MF instantly by pushing or pulling the focus ring — no switches required. The internal focus design keeps the front element stationary during focus, and a water-resistant coating on the front element helps repel moisture and fingerprints in the field.
