Used Sirui 100mm T2.9 1.6X Full-Frame Anamorphic Lens for Canon RF
The Sirui 100mm T2.9 1.6X Full-Frame Anamorphic (Venus 100) is a longer telephoto cinema prime offering a true optical 1.6x anamorphic squeeze for full-frame mirrorless cameras. The extended 100mm focal length produces strong background compression and a distinctly shallow depth of field with pronounced focus falloff, well suited to portraiture, wildlife, and any scene where subject isolation is a priority. When de-squeezed, footage renders a classic cinematic 2.8:1 aspect ratio from 16:9 sensors or 2.40:1 from 3:2 sensors, complete with the oval bokeh and horizontal blue-streak flares characteristic of anamorphic optics.
The optical formula consists of 15 elements in 13 groups, and a 13-blade iris produces creamy oval bokeh at the T2.9 maximum aperture. The all-metal anodized aluminum housing is built for on-set durability, with standardized focus and iris gear positions matching the rest of the Sirui Venus anamorphic prime lineup (35, 50, 75, 135, and 150mm) for consistent handling and quick lens swaps during production. Dual metric and imperial focus scales are marked on the barrel, and a 1/4"-20 thread is built into the housing for lens support compatibility. The 82mm front filter thread accepts standard filters directly.
