The Sigma 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 II DC OS HSM is an all-in-one superzoom lens built for APS-C Canon EF-mount cameras, covering an 11.1x zoom range equivalent to roughly 29-320mm in 35mm terms. It takes photographers from wide-angle to telephoto reach in a single lens, making it a practical choice for travel, everyday shooting, and situations where swapping lenses isn't convenient.
Optically, the lens uses 18 elements in 14 groups, including one FLD (F Low Dispersion) element, two SLD elements, and aspherical elements to help control chromatic aberration and distortion across the zoom range. Sigma's HSM (Hyper Sonic Motor) drives quiet, fast autofocus, and the OS (Optical Stabilizer) system helps counter camera shake for sharper handheld shots, particularly at the telephoto end.
