Used Rokinon 85mm T1.5 DSX Cine Lens for Canon EF
The Rokinon 85mm T1.5 Cine DSX is a full-frame manual focus telephoto cinema prime for Canon EF mount cameras, part of Rokinon's Cine DSX series alongside 24mm, 35mm, 50mm, and 135mm focal lengths. The 85mm focal length is a natural fit for portrait work, interview setups, and narrative filmmaking where subject separation and a compressed perspective are priorities. The DSX series features weather-sealed lens mounts, a 9-blade rounded aperture diaphragm, and standardized focus and iris gear positions shared across all DSX focal lengths and compatible with the earlier Cine DS series — existing follow focus and iris motor setups require no adjustment when swapping between lenses from either series.
The optical formula consists of 9 elements in 7 groups with Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) to minimize flare and ghosting. The de-clicked aperture ring enables smooth, silent iris pulls, and dual-sided T-stop and focus distance scales in feet and meters are readable from both sides of the lens barrel. At 626g and 98.7mm in length, it maintains a compact profile for a full-frame T1.5 telephoto prime, making it practical for handheld, gimbal, and traditional cinema rig use. On APS-C Canon bodies the effective focal length is 136mm equivalent.
