Used Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 Lens for Canon EF-Mount
The Rokinon 14mm f/2.8 IF ED UMC is an ultra-wide manual focus prime built for full-frame Canon EF-mount cameras, delivering approximately a 115 degree angle of view (94 degrees on APS-C bodies). It's well suited to landscapes, architecture, interiors, and astrophotography, where a wide rectilinear perspective is useful.
The optical design includes ED and aspherical elements to help control distortion and chromatic aberration across the frame, along with Ultra Multi-Coating (UMC) to reduce flare and ghosting. The lens has a built-in petal-type hood and no electronic contacts, so focus and aperture are set entirely by hand. It focuses as close as 11 inches, allowing for dramatic foreground-to-background compositions.
