The Olympus Zuiko Digital 40-150mm f/3.5-4.5 is a telephoto zoom lens built for the Four Thirds system, Olympus's original DSLR lens mount, offering an 80-300mm equivalent focal range. Its compact, lightweight design and moderate telephoto reach make it well suited to portraits, sports, and general telephoto shooting.
The optical design uses 13 elements in 10 groups with multi-layer coating to help reduce ghosting and flare. A seven-blade circular diaphragm contributes to smooth background blur, and the lens features a metal mount for durability. Autofocus is driven by an in-lens micromotor, and the lens focuses as close as 4.9 feet.
