Used Leica X Vario (Typ 107) Digital Camera
The Leica X Vario (Typ 107) is a premium compact camera notable as the first of its kind to pair an APS-C sensor with a zoom lens, taking design cues directly from the Leica M line. Its Leica Vario-Elmar 28-70mm equivalent lens covers a versatile wide-angle to short telephoto range, and even at a modest f/3.5-6.4 maximum aperture, the large sensor still allows for meaningful control over depth of field.
The camera's top plate is machined from solid aluminum using the same process as the Leica M, and the all-metal lens barrel includes a genuine manual focus ring alongside fast, quiet autofocus, a rare combination on a fixed-lens compact. Direct-access dials for shutter speed and aperture keep the shooting experience straightforward, and switching between manual and autofocus is as simple as sliding the focus ring past its detent. The X Vario also records Full HD video and supports an optional external electronic viewfinder for eye-level composition.
