Used Kiron 24mm f/2 MC Lens for Nikon F
The Kiron 24mm f/2 MC is a manual focus wide-angle prime lens, built by Kino Precision and sold under both the Kiron and Vivitar brand names, available here in a Nikon F mount with AI coupling. Its fast f/2 maximum aperture makes it well suited to available-light shooting, environmental portraits, interiors, and general wide-angle photography.
The optical design uses 9 elements in 8 groups with multi-coating (MC) to help reduce flare and ghosting. A six-blade diaphragm controls exposure, and the lens is fully mechanical, with manual focus and manual aperture control throughout. It focuses as close as 9.8 inches, useful for foreground-emphasis compositions.
