Used Canon 30D DSLR Camera Body
The Canon EOS 30D is an 8.2-megapixel APS-C DSLR that built on the strong foundation of the EOS 20D with a set of targeted refinements aimed at serious enthusiasts and working photographers. Announced in February 2006, the 30D carried forward the same capable 22.5 × 15.0mm CMOS sensor but introduced meaningful quality-of-life improvements: a larger 2.5-inch 230,000-dot LCD monitor, a shutter mechanism rated to 100,000 actuations, a deeper buffer for burst shooting, ISO adjustments in 1/3-stop increments, and an added spot metering mode. It accepts the full range of Canon EF and EF-S lenses with a 1.6x crop factor, making it a solid entry into the Canon ecosystem for collectors, students, or anyone looking for a reliable second body.
The 30D is powered by Canon's DIGIC II image processor and features a 9-point all-cross-type autofocus system with a center point sensitive to f/2.8. Continuous shooting runs at up to 5 fps with a buffer capable of handling 30 consecutive large/fine JPEGs or 11 RAW frames — a notable improvement over the 20D. The shutter covers 30 seconds to 1/8000 sec with a top flash sync of 1/250 sec, and ISO ranges from 100 to 1600 with a Custom Function extension to 3200. Canon's Picture Style system, a built-in E-TTL II pop-up flash, USB 2.0 connectivity, and CompactFlash card storage complete the package.
