Intentional Camera Movement
with Kathy Adams Clark
What if your camera could become a paintbrush?
Instead of freezing a moment, move with it. Intentional Camera Movement (ICM) and motion blur can transform everyday scenes into expressive, impressionistic photographs filled with color, movement, texture, and emotion.
In this creative, hands-on workshop, renowned nature photographer Kathy Adams Clark will introduce you to the techniques behind intentional camera movement and show you how to take control of motion to create images that look less like traditional photographs and more like works of art.
You'll learn how shutter speed, camera movement, subject selection, and composition work together—and discover how small changes in your technique can produce dramatically different results.
But the creativity doesn't stop when you press the shutter. Kathy will also demonstrate how to combine a motion-blurred image with a sharp photograph using Photoshop layers, giving you even more control over the final image.
