Used Brightin Star 35mm f/.95 Lens for Canon EF-M
The Brightin Star 35mm f/0.95 is a manual focus prime lens for Canon EF-M mount APS-C mirrorless cameras, built around an exceptionally wide maximum aperture for a compact, affordably priced optic. On APS-C, the 35mm focal length produces a roughly 56mm full-frame equivalent perspective, landing close to a natural field of view that works well for street, documentary, portrait, and available-light shooting. The f/0.95 aperture provides strong light-gathering capability in dim environments and pronounced background separation when shooting wide open.
The optical construction consists of 11 elements in 8 groups, including two low-dispersion elements to help manage chromatic aberration across the frame. A 12-blade aperture diaphragm produces smooth out-of-focus rendering, with the aperture ring offering clicked half-stop increments from f/0.95 through f/4 before stepping to f/8 and f/16. As a fully manual lens, there are no electronic contacts or autofocus; shooters will need to enable the "release without lens" setting on their camera body. The all-metal aviation aluminum barrel is compact and well-built, with multi-layer coatings applied to reduce flare and improve light transmission.
